invest BW Funding
Together with our cooperation partners at the ENT Clinic of the University of Tübingen, our joint research project on the application of pulsed distortion-product otoacoustic emissions (DPOAEs) in clinical diagnostics will receive funding through the invest BW program of the state of Baden-Württemberg for the next two years, until 2024.
Using pulsed DPOAEs, the standard deviation of objective auditory-threshold predictions can be reduced to approximately 6 dB. Moreover, in contrast to previous methods, this approach allows the middle ear, inner ear, and neural auditory pathway to be assessed separately.
